Tools Require to Fix an infected computer

First of all you need to identity the type of infection for ex.Virus,Trojan,Backdoor,Worm....If your just s beginner you don't have to worry about that.

First of all you need a good Antivirus softwares such as

1.Norton

Quite slow if you have a 512 MB or 1GB RAM.2GB and 3 GB RAM Users are only advised to use this software. But it is extremely good in virus detection and does not leave a single trace of any damage

2.Avira

Avira uses very less CPU and is quite compact.Avira free is much better than Avira Premium even though it offers web filter and mail filter

3.AVG

AVG,one of the favourites of the people these days.It offers good protection but often it deletes the system files which have been infected.

4.Avast

Avast gives you good protection but not as good as the above Anti-Viruses.Avast offers you a 30 day trial version.

Install one of the Anti-Virus programs mentioned above. After you download a program it is important to disconnect your computer from a LAN/Internet Connection.(If you computer is infected ,usually you get pop ups of different websites on their own. This is a symptom of someone controlling your PC.therefore it is important to disconnect from the Internet)

Next you need you need a registry scanner.(Viruses often copy their algorithm into the registry entry. So you are only 50% done after you delete the virus). For this you got to download
Hijack This.

Do a system scan and delete all the infected or damaged entries.

After that you can download >a href="http://www.ccleaner.com/"/>CCleaner and optimize your computer speed by deleting unwanted registry and internet tracing cookies and temporary files.

Then,The final step is to reboot your computer to completey remove the virus from your computer.
